Children’s book publishing has become a lucrative business.
Once upon a time, there was a writer. He wrote a children’s book and searched for a company that would publish the manuscript. He was met with rejection, so he gave up on his dream. He did not live happily ever after. This was once a true story. Many manuscripts were rejected, because publishers did not want to publish works that were geared toward children. Now, publishing companies are realizing that children’s book publishing is a lucrative business. Now the story goes like this… Once upon a time, there was a writer. He wrote a children’s book, and all of the publishing companies wanted to make him their client. He chose the company that offered him the most money for his manuscript. He became a popular author, that has made millions from his endeavors. Then, he lived happily ever after.
