DLP Projection Television
Today there are many different types of televisions available—one of which is the Digital Light Processing dlp projection tv. So, what is this one all about? The DLP television is a technology that experts say has been around since the early 1990s when the first big screen televisions hit the market. Today, the DLP project television is making rear projection common place in the home.
The DLP projection television uses a system of microscopic mirrors and lenses to reproduce the video signals as light signals which are then blown up as images on the television screen. Technical talk, but bottom line is that it takes the signals and transforms them into a picture that can be viewed by anyone.
So, what is the real difference between the DLP projection television and others on the market today? The DLP weighs much less than the standard CRT big screen television—sometimes as much as 1/3 less. While the difference in weight might not seem like much, think about this if you move the furniture often. Would you rather move a 300-400 pound monitor or an 85-100 pound monitor?
