Gas Mileage Improvement Devices: Truth or Fiction?
Many companies are using the gas price crisis to their advantage, by marketing products that supposedly increase your vehicle’s gas mileage, but do the products work? According to the EPA, they don’t. Over one hundred gas mileage improvement devices have been tested by the EPA, with none of them proving to increase gas mileage by a great amount. In fact, you may end up spending more to get from place to place by spending extra money on gas mileage improvement devices. Feel free to buy these products if you’d like, but keep in mind that they haven’t been proven just yet.
