How Far does a Chevy go?

In recent years, American car manufacturers, like Chevrolet, had to catch up with their Japanese counterparts in terms of fuel efficiency. This improvement in the Chevy gas mileage is showcased with most all of Chevrolet’s current models like the Aveo, Cobalt, Malibu and HHR. Whereas standard models of these vehicles used to travel at 20 miles to the gallon, Chevrolet claims that they can now go more or less 10 miles more to the gallon at 30 MPG. Of course, what Chevrolet doesn’t include is the fact that their gas mileage figures are for highway driving only. Their average mileage for city driving still sits at an average of 22 MPG.
