A Federal Criminal Record and Expungement
If you have a federal criminal record , there is still some hope for you if you are looking for a job. If you meet the requirements of your jurisdiction, you can try having your record sealed or expunged. The processes involved in the sealing and expunging of criminal records will vary from state to state. One can usually only have their record expunged if the crimes in the record are relatively minor, such as possession of a controlled substance or petty theft. However, major criminal acts will usually make it next to impossible to have a federal criminal record expunged or sealed.
