Kalahari Bushmen Have Been Eating Hoodia For Centuries
For centuries, Kalahari Bushmen have eaten the hoodia plant in order to prevent hunger during long journeys. The Kalahari Desert is the only place in the world where hoodia grows naturally. It was discovered by a South African laboratory that was studying plant indigenous to the southern part of Africa. After discovering its dietary benefits, the South African researchers applied for and received a patent to use the hoodia plant as a dietary aid. They licensed hoodia to a British pharmaceutical company. Now, many throughout the world can benefit from what the Bushmen have known for centuries: hoodia works to suppress your appetite.
