I used to try recording this song off the tv with my tapedeck while it played on the first film. After many attempts at getting the sound right my Mum busted out the vinyl and showed I could tape the song while playing it through the stereo. A revelation to me at the time!

The Power of Love and Beat It were my favourite songs when I was a kid. Both BTTF songs.

Their early work was a little new wave for my taste but when sports came out in 83 I think they really came into their own, commercially and aritistically.

I wonder if in 20 years from now, people will be bashing future music and praising artists like Justin Bieber or Ke$ha…

  19. October 13th, 2010 | 3:52 am

@TheLovemusicguy depends if you wanna listen or not.: there are always a few great bands, and a thousand of shitty ones. in the 80 was the same, today is the same.
