The Removal Of CO2
When you use a wine making kit, one of the hardest takes you will encounter is the degassing process. This step is where the carbon dioxide gas occurs during the step where the yeast turns the sugar into alcohol.
Being that the product of the wine making kit is supposed to be bottled by four to eight weeks, sufficient time isn’t given for the degassing to occur naturally. The alternative is the vigorous stirring of the wine by hand which is too difficult.
Drill mounted stirrers are used for this reason; but still, to obtain one a great deal of money is required to be invested. So be sure of your wine skills before investine.
